Background
Qalki is a one-stop platform for writers and readers to grow and share their knowledge, experiences, and most importantly unheard feelings. It wants to set up a unique community for people to write their stories and creation down and hear back from others around the globe in an easier way.
I joined Qalki as UX designer when it already has some draft mobile browser prototypes. My responsibility is to:
- make the current design perfect;
- design the website browser interface.

Solutions For Goals

Business Requirement
User Research
I conducted in-person interview via zoom, and synthesis the findings from forum and online communities to better understand underlying problems.
Several key points that users care most have been concluded form the research:
  - communication opportunities and needs
  - ease of use
  - read more different topics to boost
  - concentration on the content
Heuristic Evaluation of the existing prototypes
Confusing information architecture and navigation design
There is no clear and consistent indicator for users to know where they are and what they are expected to see within current interface.
Low visibility of the content and crowded content
The content in home page is too crowded that not space for users to breath. Either the font size, or the layout grid needs to be fixed.
Ideation
I re-organize the following key features to build the information architecture to deliver the MVP.
Wireframe
With the defined MVP, I recreate the wireframes for the mobile browser and create the web browser. Below are the main features screens.
Hi-Fi Prototype
By considering the visual identification preference from the project owner and aesthetics, I designed the hi-fi prototypes with Figma. Some screenshots are shown below.
